JPOX is a Java Data Objects (JDO) API implementation. The Java Data Objects (JDO) API is a standard interface-based Java model abstraction of persistence. It is released under the Apache 2 license.

JPOX has had 2 full releases and has two branches (JPOX 1.0 - no longer supported) and a development branch (JPOX 1.1). We require assistance on many areas of the project should you be interested. A few selected areas where work is needed are

• Development of JDO 2.0 features.
• Generation of a GUI tool for JPOX (using Eclipse)
• Performance improvements
• Documenting the JPOX system

If you are interested, please go to the JPOX Forum and raise a thread in the Volunteers forum. Please make sure that you have time to spend on JPOX development before volunteering as this would only waste our time otherwise. There are many interesting parts of the system to work on so this is your chance to get aboard the project.
