JPOX 1.2 provides the third generation of JPOX. JPOX version 1.2 extends JPOX to encompass the "Java Persistence" (JPA 1.0) specification (subset of the persistence technology specified in the JDO 2.0 specification), and to take in the JDO 2.1 specification. In addition JPOX 1.2 will provide persistence to DB4O datastores, as well as significantly enhancing its support for persisting spatial types (implementing the OGC Simple Feature Specification).
