I've sure done a lot of reading in your documentation these days, but this remark has escaped my attention. Now, after I inserted this 'LowerCase' parameter everything looks fine on the MySQL side.

I had read about these peculiarities of Firefox, but had not understood the implications. So trying this tutorial gave me some good insights. Anyway automatic table creation is presently not a big concern for me. My primary focus will be on validatig ad mapping an existing database.
