Hello to all, I'm a newbie according to MROs (including datanucleus). We are studying using datanucleus for java objects persistance. I tried datanucleus-samples-jdo-tutorial-1.0.0 But when I launch "ant createschema" I have a nice : "ClassNotFoundException : javax.jdo.metadata.ComponentMetadata". I searched through all jars I have downloaded (datanucleus-accessplatform-full-nodeps-1.1.0.m4/lib/*.jar, jdo2-api-2.0.jar) and I must agree with ant : no ComponentMetadata Class. I did not change datanucleus.properties files because I assumed that I will use jdbc and for the moment it is sufficient. (I will use other Relational databases later). I suppose my problem can easely be solved, but at the moment I'm stuck. Thank for your help regards ---------------------------------------- God is Real, unless declared Integer |

Why are you trying to use AccessPlatform 1.1 with JDO 2.0? The dependencies page states very clearly that it requires JDO2.3+ (which is included with the zip download) ---------------------------------------- -Andy ![]() ![]() |

Sorry, I did not read this document as carefully that I thought. the JDO2.3 is not included in the tutorial zip ? is it ? by the way the site JDO web site only propose the jdo 2.2 releases. regards ---------------------------------------- God is Real, unless declared Integer ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by Stephane at Feb 19, 2009 12:16:19 PM] |
